PRIVACY AND POLICY
Confidentiality & Privacy Policy: The State and Federal laws protect the relationship between a client and a counselor and/or psychotherapist. Any information provided cannot be disclosed without the clients written permission, except for in the following:
* In the case of death or disability.
* Information shared with your insurance company to process your claims.
* Information you and/or your child(ren) report about physical or sexual abuse; by Washington State Law, we are obligated to report
this to the Department of Children and Family Services.
* You sign a release of information to have specific information shared.
* You provide information that informs me that you are in danger of harming yourself or others.
* Information necessary for case supervision or consultation when
required by law.
* Information about clients may be disclosed, in consultations with
other professionals, in order to provide the best possible
treatment. In such cases, the name of the client, or any identifying
information, is not disclosed. Clinical information about the
client is only discussed.
